it is very one compared to the technical, there r 25 questions out of which 15 is cutoff. it consists of
1. puzzles test

1.assertion 2.supporting assortion 3.counter 4. irrespective
4 sentence r give and 4 choose r also , we must find the correct choce . these is based on logical thinking (5 q)

VERBAL
this is very tough one there analogies(5 Q) basically from GRE, Correction of sentence(5 Q), fill the black with proper word OR meaning of word in sentence( 5 Q). cuttoff is 8 marks

In reasoning they gave a question on relations for five marks like there are 6 members A,B,C,D,E,F in a family and there is a married couple and some d is the lawyer,C is the grand daughter of F like that and asked how many males are there and how D is related to A like that questions.It was very is.For the next 5 marks they gave required qualifications for a job and gave qualifications of some persons and asked wheather that person is fit for that job or not.It is also very easy.then coding and decoding was given.and the remaining are on assertion statements actually i din't prepared for that,but did well.
Coming to verbal we should prepare for analogies,sentense correction and a small paragraph was given and gave some options for choosing the better conclusion.
the cut off was 13 for reasoning and 8 for verbal.Better prepare well for verbal bcoz it is little bit tougher than reasoning.
written test was conducted on 21st june at about 12:30 pm and results were announced on the same day at about 3:30 pm and my name was the 4th name in the list.after that we went for ppt we asked some queries on it in the queries session.and we are fortunate that we have a gap of two days between written test and interview.I prepared well for interview.
confidently attended it.for me it happened to be HR interview first.they asked me what is proton,electrimagnetic field,and GD topic of my choice and why it is my choice.it was very cool.and sent for technical interview there HR manager asked me question in each and every subject in JNTU curriculam bcoz i am a JNTU student.i was surprised while he was asking me that questions because he knows every subject irrespective of ECE, EEE, CSE.Being i am an ECE student i am able to tell him our subjects well.and he asked me about my paper presentations.at last i thanked him and wentout.The results were announced at 6:30pm as i am confident that i will get the job i am not that much surprised after listening my name in the selected people list.
Be confident and prepare well.i hope that we will meet in SYNTEL.
