Aptitude:

There were 3 set of booklets of 3 colors(white,Pink,Yellow).So each and everyone got from any of the three set of booklets.I got White.

There were 3 sections in aptitude

1.Quantitative Aptitude(30 ques).

2.Logical Resonning(30 ques).

3.Verbal(30 ques).

Section 1(quantitative):

Refer R.S.Aggarwal book.plz cover all the chapters..

Important topics:

· Pipes & Cisterns.

· Boats & Streams.

· Alligation & Mixture.

· Simple Interest.

· Profit & Loss.

· Probability.

· Problems On Ages.

· Time & work.

· Time & Distance.

· Discount.

· Problems On Numbers.

· Average.

· Plz refer Bar,Line,Pie Graphs,because 6 ques will be based on any one of the graphs.

Section 2(Logical Resonning):

Refer R.S.Aggarwal Verbal &Non Reasoning book.The chapters are

· Blood Relations.

· Puzzle Test.

· Coding-Decoding.

· Statement Assumptions.

· Statement Conclusions.

· Conclusions from Passages.

· Logical Venn Diagrams.

· Arithmetic Reasoning.

This section is time consuming,so keep time management.First work out Arithmetic Reasoning.

Section 3(Verbal Ques):

· Synonyms(5 ques).

· Antonyms(5 ques).

· Correct the Sentence.

· Analogy.

· Ques from long passage(its very easy).

Note: There is sectional cutoff..I think its 22 out of 30..Totally app. 300 attended only abt 70 cleared aptitude..

GD:

This is also major elimination round.My GD topic was “Is IT development Brain Drain or Brain gain”.I initiated the topic as brain drain bt all opposed me,bt I was confident & made good points.Just be confident and speak audibly.

Other GD topics were

Capitive Punishment.

Reservation.etc

Out of 70 only 37 cleared GD.

Note: just be confident & keep good eye contact.Make ur points clear & audible.

Verification round:

They verified all our certificates individually.. I was 93% in 10th,91% in 12th & now 75%.They asked the reason for the fall of percent..I jus replied wit confidence dat ill make it to 80%.they asked Ques based on our resumes.so plz be thorough wit ur resume.

Personal Profile(HR+Tech):

It was an group interview.Only one person interviewed us.. Iam from ECE department so he asked me, which subject deals wit the details of information how they r communicated?

I replied Computer Networks.

He asked ques from Computer Networks.Since my interested subject Is Networks I answered well(abt switches,Routers etc)

The HR person wit a pleasant smile marked in his paper…

Final Results:

They announced results after PPt.

Finally out of 37 only 16 got through…I am so happy to b one among 16…Then they issued the offer letter…..

So jus b confident u can knock it out…..

90 question in 90 mins, there is sectional cut off.. so dont stick on to section itself u can allot time like this( quant 40 mins,verbal 30 min, reasoning 20 mins) initially they dont give rough sheets and advised us to write verbal

CAREFULL !! this is to check ur stabilty .. first do quant.. else there will be no time to it in last then do verbal and last come to reasoning
quant consist of questions like percentage boats profit loss pipes train (as in RS AGARWL)

verbal is damn easy
2 synonyms ( malady , decapitate)
5 replace the sentense by word
reading comprehension( some tsunami passage )
find the error in sentece( which part or no error)
which sentece can be replaced for the underlined phrase

GROUP DISCUSSION
we 10 were askd to go to one conference hall.. there we r asked to wait for few mins
Advice: Before the mentor comes know each other .. so that u will talk freely with them

be bold.. but dont be arrogant and very dominant but slight dominance can be showed if u r really a dominant person never keep ur mouth shut
the topic given to us is IS ENTRACE EXAMS NESSECARY FOR ENGG COLLEGES

they gave one minute to think they asked to have a paper and pencil.. two of dont have.. so i took oppurtunity to show my leader ship quality by asking one to giv half of his paper to the next down then one min later mentor asked to start

i started with history wy this TNPCEE came and wats advantage .. wy abolished.. i gave oppurtunty to others to talk.. this is more important
at last mentor asked to give each one a conclusion( note its not summing up) as i am sitting in7th position remaing 6 spoke by starting I SuPPORT

but i started by thankig others and mentor to have a oppurtunity to talk ang gain knowledge then gave my conclusion

OUT OF TEN ONLY FIVE SELECTED TO NEXT ROUND ALL THREE OF OUR COLLGE ARE SELETED TO NEXT RND

then they gave lunch for all ten. then we 5 are waiting for technical but taht hr came and gave a form which is too tedious to fill and told that ther i s only final rnd then verification is done( justed asked my name and some detailes u filled) then we waited for half an hour then HR called us and asked us to wait one interviw room but to ur gratest luck the VICE PRESIDENT of the company came he just asked wat is unique in us ( a modifed for of tell abt ur self) then he told us that they are not paying us for fun.. lot of toughness is there .. are u ready.. we all said yes.. then he said ok .. my HR will come nw

wat we thought yet another rnd will be ther and we astyed in the room for 45 min. then that HR came and asked us to wait one hall, after 50 mins, one lady came with five cover .. yes it is offer leter forr all 5 .We are tottally luck i here thank GOD .i than our placement sir( mr .p Athiyaman)
