ABOUT:

Uranium Corporation of India Limited is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy with its Headquarters at Jaduguda Mines P.O., District East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Company is engaged in mining and processing of uranium ore for use as fuel in the country’s nuclear power reactors. Company is presently running four underground mines, an opencast mine, two Processing Plants and a by-product recovery plant – all in Singhbhum (East) district of Jharkhand. Company is also poised for a massive expansion in different parts of the country. Therefore, UCIL invites applications from Indian citizens for the following posts (including few backlog vacancies) required for its existing units in Jharkhand and upcoming projects in Andhra Pradesh & Meghalaya:

Qualifications & Experience for the Posts at Sl.No. :

04.  Degree in Mining Engineering from a University/recognized Institution.

05.  Degree in Chemical Engg./Metallurgical Engg./M.Sc. in Mineral Processing from a University/recognised Institution.

06.  Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University/recognised Institution.

07.  Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a University/recognised Institution.

08.  PG Degree in Geology/ Mineral Exploration/ Degree in Mining from a University/recorgnized Institution.

09.  Degree in Instrumentation/ Electronics & Tele Communication Engg or equivalent from a University/recognized Institution.

10.  Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent OR Graduate in Engg. with PG qualification in Indl. Engineering from a University/recognized Institution.

11.  Degree in Environmental Engg. OR Degree in any other Branch of Engg./Ph.D in Organic/ Inorganic Chemistry backed with a PG Diploma or full time Certificate Course in Environmental Engg. or Environmental Sciences from a University or recognized Institution.

12.  M.Sc. Physics/Electronics – First Class (60% marks) with Computer Science as special subject or M.Sc. (Instrumentation) from a University or recognized Institution.

13.  M.Sc.in Chemistry (Inorganic/Analytical) or M.Sc. Mineral Processing/ B.E. Metallurgy/Chemical from a University or recognized Institution.

14.  Degree in Civil Engg. or equivalent from a University or recognized Institution.

15.   Degree in Computer Engg./Sciences or   M.C.A from a University or recognized Institution.

16.  Degree in any discipline including that in Engineering and two years full time PG Degree/ Diploma recognised by statutory authority/Central/State Govt. in Personnel Management, Labour/ Social Welfare, IR, Social work, Social Behavioural Science, Training & Development OR MBA with specialization in Personnel Management. OR MBA/PGPM with specialization in HRD/ Training & Development.

17.  Final CA/ICWA or MBA (Finance) from a university or recognized institution.

18.  Degree in Engg OR Degree in any discipline with 2 years PG Degree/ Diploma in Materials Management or MBA (with specialization in Materials Management) from a University or recognized Institution.

Terms & Conditions for the posts at Sl.No. 04 to 18
Duration of training for Management Trainees will be for a period of 01(One) year.  On satisfactory completion of training, the trainee(s) will be absorbed as regular employee in the scale of pay of Rs.8600-250-14,600/- subject to vacancies.  The selected candidates will have to execute a bond to serve the company for a period of 04(four) years.
