SPECIAL DRIVE FOR RECRUITMENT OF SC / ST CANDIDATES

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC, presently owns a 9.69 MMTPA Refinery at Mangalore. MRPL plans to expand the Refining Capacity to 15 MMTPA at Mangalore and requires the following Personnel in Non - Management Cadre to fill up the backlog vacancies in SC / ST category:

1. Candidate should be Domicile of Karnataka.
2. All the above vacancies are located at Mangalore.
3. Only candidates belonging SC/ ST categories need to apply.
4. The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination should be 50%. Percentage of marks should be the aggregate of all semesters i.e., total marks obtained over total maximum marks of all semesters.
5. Candidates without experience will be considered for the position of Trainees and will be paid stipend as applicable. Training period will be for 6 months.
6. All Certificates / Diploma mentioned above must be from the Universities / Institutions recognized by the State Government / Government of India.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed second-class rail / bus fare by the shortest route, on production of railway ticket/ bus ticket.
2. Application received after last date for receipt of applications, will neither be entertained nor returned and MPRL will not be responsible for any delay whatsoever.
3. Requests for change of mailing address/ category / discipline declared in the application, will not be entertained.
4. Persons employed in Government or Semi-government Organizations / Public Sector Undertakings should submit their applications through proper channel. Advance copy can also be sent and in that case, No Objection Certificate to be produced at the time of Interview failing which, their candidature will not be entertained.
5. Application with incomplete information and / or not accompanied with true copies of all certificates / mark sheets / testimonials (All mark- sheets compulsory) regarding age, qualifications, experience (nature of experience should be specified) and caste / community, are liable to be rejected.
