BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED (A Govt. of India Enterprise) ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR TELECOM CIRCLERecruitment of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) in BSNL Applications on A4 size paper in the prescribed proforma given below are invited from the eligible Candidates belong to Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the post of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) in the scale of pay of Rs. 7100-200-10100 plus and other usual allowances as applicable as per Rules. Eligibility Criteria: Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years as on 01.12.2007 (Last date of receipt of application). The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. The age relaxation for BSNL employees is upto 40 years for OC & 45 years for SC/ST and upto 43 years for OBC candidates as per Rules. Ex-servicemen are eligible for relaxation in age limit as per Rules. SC/ST/OBC Candidates should produce the community certificate in the prescribed proforma for each category for availing age relaxation. Educational Qualification: A Candidate must possess three (3) years Engineering Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics, Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Radio Engineering / Computer Engineering / Instrument Technology / M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized Institution/University on the date of application. Examination Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) in the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of Accounts Officer(Cash), BSNL, A&N Telecom Circle, payable at Port Blair along with the application in a single draft. Fees once paid will not be returned under any circumstances. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from the examination fee provided they enclose necessary Community Certificate. How to apply: Application in A 4 size (30cm X 20cm) completed in all respects in the prescribed proforma along with the attested copies of the certificates in respect of qualification, age and community etc. should reach the Assistant General Manager (Admn), O/o the Chief General Manager, A&N Telecom Circle, BSNL, Telephone Bhawan, Port Blair - 744 101 on or before 01.12.2007. Candidates working under Central / State Govt. / Public Sector undertakings should send their applications through the Head of their Office / Department and reach this office on or before the due date. Application received after the due date from such offices will be summarily rejected. Recent passport size photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer should be affixed in the space provided for in the application. The envelope containing the application must be duly super scribed with “Application for the Post of Telecom Technical Assistant” on top of the envelop Two self addressed stamped envelops of 27x12 cms and 2 passport size photos identical to the photo pasted in the application should be enclosed along with application. Application must be sent in the format as prescribed in the advertisement, otherwise it will be rejected. Application and requisite enclosures must be properly tagged / stitched by thread only. BSNL will not be responsible for loss of enclosures if sent loose. No overwriting in the application is allowed. Registration in employment Exchange is preferable but not mandatory.
