Joint venture between TVS Group and Lucas Industries Plc, UK (now integrated with TRW)
In 1981, Brakes India established a Foundry Division at Sholinghur to manufacture Permanent Mould Grey Iron castings

STAGE I:
TEST I : GENERAL APTITUDE : 15 MINS : 25 QUESTIONS
It is an elimination round…there is no cut-off…top 50 out of 120 were shortlisted.

STAGE II:
TEST II : TECHNICAL TEST : 30 min : 75 QUESTIONS
It is an elimination round…there is no cut-off…top 25 out of 50 were shortlisted

STAGE III:
GROUP DISCUSSION:
Quality will improve marketing of a product.

Elimination round….Those who have dominated were shortlisted. Same topic for all the groups. ….12 out of 25 were shortlisted.

STAGE IV:
Interview Questions:
TECH INTERVIEW 1 : MANUFACTURING : 20- 30 MINS
TECH INTERVIEW 2 : DESIGN : 20-30 MINS
HR INTERVIEW : 15 MINS
NO ELIMINATION AT THE END OF EACH INTERVIEW…CUMMULATIVE....
